Premature Mortality in Serbia
Abstract
This dissertation examines premature mortality as a burden on Serbian society through national, municipal, and comparative European perspectives. It quantifies total and avoidable premature mortality as well as mortality associated with the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic and PM2.5 air pollution, and relates these patterns to social development and access to health infrastructure.
